The journey from original artwork to limited edition print begins in my personal art studio. Rather than relying on flat, lifeless digital scans, I choose to photograph each piece using a premium medium-format Hasselblad H3D-39 camera paired with the legendary HC 120mm F4 Macro lens. Illuminated by a precise two-flash studio setup, this optical approach in my opinion captures the true soul of my artwork. The result is a digital master that retains a magnificent old style film-like sense of depth, texture, and organic vitality ensuring that every print feels remarkably close to the original painting.
My Hassleblad H3D-39.  Definitely the real star of the show. A little older, a few battle scars, but optically inspiring.  Just like your artist.

  • Beyond the Digital Scan: Photographed in-studio using the medium-format Hasselblad system, capturing a depth, and vitality that flatbed scanners simply cannot repliicate. Definitely a CD vs Vinyl like comparison. There's a life in the Blad I don't see in a scan.
  • Masterful Studio Lighting: Digitised under a precise dual-flash studio setup to perfectly illuminate every subtlety of the original artwork. I must add here, Masterfully lucky on this occasion.
  • Optically Superior Precision: Captured with the legendary Hasselblad HC 120mm Macro lens, ensuring flawless edge-to-edge sharpness and absolute fidelity.
